Ann Leslie's Music Studio

Ann Leslie’s Piano Studio provides private piano tuition and both private and group musicianship lessons for children, teenagers and adults. The studio teaching philosophy is centered on creating a supportive environment with sensitive teaching practices which encourage each student to reach their personal musical goals.

Ann Leslie has many years of experience as a teacher, having worked in both the music education and early childhood profession over the past 20 years. Her qualifications include: ADMA, BA, AMEB 8th Grade Piano, AMEB 6th Grade Musicianship, and a Certificate III in Early Childhood Studies. She is passionate music teacher with a wealth of knowledge and skills to teach her students. Lessons are tailored to suit individual student needs.

The studio offers piano lessons to students from as young as 6 years. While studying the instrument, students will learn how to read music, understand rhythm, develop their aural skills and learn the correct technical exercises to support their repertoire pieces.

There are a number of different courses and syllabus provided at the studio and each course is selected according to the individual student’s personal goals and current level of ability.

Whether a student is preparing for an AMEB exam, a recital or competition or is learning piano for leisure, lessons are delivered with passion and enthusiasm and are programmed to develop each student’s practical and theoretical knowledge while fostering a love of music for life!with passion and enthusiasm and are programmed to develop each student’s practical and theoretical knowledge.
