I find ACFE a great platform to keep connected. How their events and conferences keep me connected with other like-minded people is an achievement in its own. I had been a student member of ACFE for a couple of years and now am applying for Associate Membership. Prior to each event, I look forward to the indispensable knowledge that is imparted. Indeed an Anti-fraud commitment!

I was a registered nurse in the Philippines and had always wanted to work in Australia as the country offered great career opportunities and well paying jobs. To meet the stringent Australian health care norms, I enrolled in a bridging programme (IRON) conducted by ACFE. The course included both class room training and hands-on clinical placements and thus equipped me with advanced skill sets to work in the Australian health industry. Today, I am well placed in a community aged care setting and want to advance my career with Advance Diploma Course in Nursing from ACFE. Would definitely recommend courses of ACFE to all existing and aspiring nurses.

I remember that from a very young age I had always wanted to be a nurse. My sister is a practicing nurse and I had always wanted to be like her – caring for the old and the sick. As a first step, immediately after passing out from high school, I enrolled in Certificate III in aged care conducted by ACFE. What helped was that there were no strict entry requirements. Proficiency in English was the only criteria as well as being over 18 years of age. And of course before placement in a real life aged care setting, police verification of my antecedents was done. The course was excellent. I acquired advanced skill sets in aged care and was placed in a residential environment, working under direct supervision. Finally my dreams were fulfilled all thanks to ACFE.

I have always been interested in nursing as a career and after high school I decided to take it up seriously. I joined Certificate III in aged care conducted by ACFE, an accredited institution for such courses. There are no strict entry requirements but the course gives a great insight into the basics of nursing and aged care. The program is of 50 weeks duration with 120 hours of clinical based hands-on training. After passing out I have been posted in a community aged care setting and I love my job. Hope to complete the advanced Certificate IV course of ACFE too and really be a highly qualified professional in this field.

There are certain times when even well established managers face a certain level of stagnancy in their career. I know because I’ve gone through it. I was a business manager in an export firm but after a few years there decided to give my career a boost. I enrolled in ACFE conducted Diploma in Business Management course and picked up a host of modern management techniques. The course comprised of extensive class room training and had well qualified educators. I am glad to say that I have a better job now thanks to ACFE.
