I am very disapointed. I booked my car in for a radiator replacement. The car is a 2009 volvo xc60. I was quoted a price which I accepted and delivered the vehicle to the premises. I was contacted 2 hours later and told that replacement required extensive mechanical work and the price would be $400 more than quoted. I therefore cancelled the job and went home. I have since purchased a "haynes" workshop manual. It classes the removal and replacement of the radiator as a fairly easy non technical job. I do not understand that as a radiator repair and replacement company you do not have the capability to get documented directions on how to replace radiators on different vehicles. For your information the radiator on the xc60 is replaced from below the vehicle. I am 81 years of age and an electronics engineer ex service manager for a large electronics organisation. If I was 10 years younger I would do the job myself.
