Upper Reach Winery

Upper Reach is one of Perth's must visit Swan Valley wineries having been awarded the Gourmet Traveller WINE ‘Best Small Cellar Door’ and ‘Best Accommodation' in 2021 and ‘Best Small Cellar Door’ in 2022.

At Upper Reach you'll meet the people who actually grow the grapes and make the wine and there is a fantastic deck where you can relax, take in the view and enjoy a glass or two.

Over the past 25 years, Upper Reach Winery owners, Laura & Derek Pearse, have produced award-winning wines which highlight the character of their Swan Valley estate-grown fruit. Year in, year out, they create wines that are fresh, vibrant and full flavoured, each wine reflecting the vintage and the vineyard.

Enjoy a fun and informative wine tasting experience in the Cellar Door. With sweeping views over the vineyard and into the working winery, it's an experience not to be missed.

Open Thursday to Monday, 11.30am to 3.00pm, the totally transformed Restaurant at Upper Reach is a must visit. Think bistro-style, with a Mediterranean twist, the restaurant offers sensational food using locally sourced ingredients in a light and bright setting. Small tasting plates to share and generous a la carte options will be created by chef Ryan Fels.

The Vineyard Spa Cottage at Upper Reach offers an opportunity to rest, relax and recharge. The original workers cottage built in 1907 has been refurbished to include everything you need. After a day of exploring the Valley, retreat back to your cottage surrounded by your very own 20 acre vineyard.

Upper Reach is one of the top Swan Valley wine producers, with an extensive list of wine show awards. Their success is a result of winemaker Derek's hands-on involvement, both in the vineyard and in the winery.
