The Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVAC&R) sector is a highly skilled and legislated industry with many specialised services. HVAC hygiene is one such service requiring specialised and unique skill sets, training, and experience.

Coil Clean Services provides a low-cost opportunity to achieve higher energy efficiency for both air conditioning and refrigeration equipment while improving indoor air quality, IAQ.

The removal of accumulated dust particles, bacteria, and mould (fungal) growth in the indoor coil will improve air circulation and fresh air dilution, improve control of design conditions, and lower energy usage. Cleaning of the outdoor condenser coil will increase the reliability of the equipment and reduce wear and tear, breakdowns, and energy consumption.

Coil Cleaning Services can advise customers and provided detailed air handling system assessment, cleaning, and verification on HVAC hygiene and coil cleaning. We can also offer general maintenance and repair of all HVAC&R equipment in addition to our specialist cleaning service.

As part of our service, we can attend site, advise and supply the fitting of access panels, and related services to facilitate ongoing maintenance of the equipment. Cleaning of the air handling unit and associated duct is completed using industrial vacuum equipment fitted with HEPA grade filtration. Additional services such as mould remediation and replacement of contaminated equipment is within Coil Clean Services capabilities.

We use pressure cleaners specifically designed for coil cleaning and eliminate the use of highly caustic cleaning solutions that can inadvertently damage and reduce the life of your equipment.

Verification of our work and reporting follows AIRAH best practice guidelines visual inspection and includes surface comparison testing, vacuum particle testing, fungal decontamination verification, and coil pressure drop readings.

Operations are overseen by a qualified refrigeration and air conditioning mechanic. Our supervising technician has over 15 years’ experience in HVAC&R maintenance and certified with a diploma in HVAC & Refrigeration UEE50607(2011), attained Certificate 1 in Mould Remediation and Inspection (2008), and AIRAH coarse in Essential Safety Measures (HVAC Smoke Systems Maintenance) (2011).
