NuFoods delivers healthy, texture modified meals directly to your door. Order flavour-filled meals created using IDDSI compliant, texture modified food and ingredients and have them delivered weekly.

Our texture modified food features no added preservatives or fillers and our delicious range includes pureed meals, minced and moist meals, soft, bite-sized meals and easy to chew meals.

At NuFoods, our team of Chefs & Food Technologist have worked with health practitioners, dieticians, nutritionists and speech pathologists to ensure all our texture modified meals are healthy, nutritious and full of flavour, whilst always being IDDSI compliant.

Our texture modified meal categories include pureed meals that do not require chewing. Meals can be piped, layered or moulded because they retain their shape, and should not require chewing if presented in this form. Food shows some very slow movement under gravity but cannot be poured.

Easy to chew meals which are normal, everyday foods of soft/tender textures that are developmentally and age-appropriate. They do not include hard, tough, chewy, fibrous, stringy, crunchy, or crumbly bits, pips, seeds, fibrous parts of fruit, husks or bones.

Soft and bite-sized meals can be eaten with a fork, spoon or chopsticks. These meals can be mashed/ broken down with pressure from fork, spoon or chopsticks. They are soft, tender and moist throughout but with no separate thin liquid.

Minced and moist meals with no separate thin liquid. Small lumps are visible within the food and lumps are easy to squash with the tongue. Adult, equal to or less than 4mm width and no longer than 15mm in length.
