Slater and Gordon Lawyers in Sunshine Coast welcomes our new rising star Law Clerk Leah Harms. Leah has been practising law for the past 11 years and currently has expertise in Superannuation Law, TPD Claims, and Compensation Law.
Originally employed with our Townsville Lawyers office for many years, Slater and Gordon recognised her potential and recently facilitated her relocation to the Sunshine Coast region. All going well (and subject to Pandemic interference) Leah should be admitted as a lawyer sometime towards the end of May this year.
Leah is still adjusting to the slightly cooler climate of the Sunshine Coast (compared with Townsville) but loves living near the beach and the relaxed laid-back lifestyle in her local area. She particularly enjoys the ease of visiting Brisbane for shopping, friends and family without the need to book a 2 hour flight from North Queensland.
Leah is passionate about helping local people achieve justice where they would otherwise be unable to afford legal representation. “I know it’s a good day at work when I can make a personal connection with my client and help alleviate any stress or anxiety that may be caused by their legal situation.”
