IMPORT DOCUMENTATION

Our house Custom Broker facilitates every entry no matter what mode of transportation is being used. This cargo can be air, ocean or by DTS ground service. In advance we ask customers and agents to advise on arrival notice and speed pre-clearance process for your cargo.

SINGLE AND FORMAL ENTRIES

If you are not a registered importer, our custom broker will register your company on a single entry level. Formal entries on the other hand can be filed registering you as a continuous single commodity importer. This gives you the option of handling your cargo on a first time basis or opening new frontiers for new trade.

CUSTOMS POWER OF ATTORNEYS

We will file all your documentation and list your power of attorney with customs. We notarize and seal all legal documents for verification of products and conduct of entries. Only authorized personal and designated brokers will be available to represent you on your behalf.

DRAW BACK ENTRIES

If your cargo needs to be stored on duty-free zone warehouse your draw back on this material is very important. Similar to temporary imports, there are certain requirements that need to be met to enable cargo withdrawals at a later point. We would provide you with all the guidelines and permits to move your cargo on bonded warehouse and will file your entries to draw back from this zone. This can reduce the costs of duties and warehouse storage. <

SURETY BONDS

Instead of filing a single or formal entry every time you import material into each country we can post a bond for your company and commodities. This will be convenient for customers that bring high value equipment on each shipment.

MATERIAL CLASSIFICATION

We will classify your cargo with its corresponding headings before it gets nationalized by U.S. standard regulations in which tariff of duties, fees, taxes and all the customs schedule numbers are formed. We want this classification of goods to be completely accurate to ensure we always clear customs with no delays.

CARGO SERVICES

DTS is taking an active role in assisting shippers with special needs on project cargo loads. As project experts we will provide services that will ensure the most efficient dispatch of our client’s equipment to their operation site. It is our duty to deliver our customers a full commitment to quality and responsiveness, along with the ability to transport any cargo to their location at a competitive price.

Our responsibility is to plan and subsequent monitoring on every project that we start. Our logistics personnel are geared to observe and elaborate different areas that will give our customers more expeditious results.

PROJECT FEASIBLE STUDIES

Meeting with your project managing director and designated suppliers to review materials and equipment needed for transport. We detail any technical requirements and contracts.

RATE CONTRACTS FOR LINERS AND AIR CHARTERS

We file rate contracts with steamship companies and air charters to extend the savings on to you without taking away the ultimate service and precision needed for the charter to proceed.

STORAGE AND WAREHOUSING

Our shipping/receiving warehouse will always be notified on special needs for cargo on a project level. This cargo is taken on a priority basis by receiving, checking and pack immediately for shipping.

TRACKING/EXPEDITING EVERY SHIPMENT

We will notify our customers on the status of every shipment. We will keep track of every material expedited and advise our client’s customers on partials until we get the job done. We will give you up-to-date vessel position reports and airplane gate reports every time we are in transit.

COST ANALYSIS

We offer integrated “turn-key” supplier-to-site logistical solutions to bring your project cost feasible and most profitable to you and your customer. Our diversified range of transportation specialties is adaptable to the specific requirements of your project in order to offer the best rates.

CARTING & PACKAGING

Our warehouse facility located at the Port of Houston , has a 45,000 square foot space available of closed fenced yard and about 10,000 square feet of closed 4-door container high dock warehouse space. Services available to our customers are:

ON-SITE PACKING CREW

We will provide private crew members to ensure special handling in packing your overseas shipment.

OCEAN CONTAINER LOADS

Our packing experts will provide specialty services on 20 and 40-foot containers on any packing such as sub-floors, blocking, bracing, stuffing, retainer walls and complete weather proofing .

AIR AND OCEAN EXPORT & DOMESTIC PACKING

No matter what material we receive for packing, everything is reviewed and studied to be able to offer our customer a specific packaging structure. If material is specified for export we will treat this cargo with care, creating the proper packing that will resist all kinds of handling and weather throughout its journey. We also view the possibilities of domestic packing when cargo does not move such a long distance. This procedure will save our customers time and money.

AIR FREIGHT

EXPORT DOCUMENTATION - LEGALIZATION - LETTERS OF CREDIT

We expedite your orders based on the purchase orders available for every shipment. We make sure every item corresponds to the order and execute your commercial invoices. Depending on destinations, some air freight shipments require legalization from corresponding Consuls. We will take care of notarizing and proceeding with Chamber of Commerce for legalization. Letters of Credits are one of our top trades in our financial department. We take pride to say that 99% of our bank filings have been approved no later than the expiration date required by bank.

CONSOLIDATIONS

We will expedite and consolidate all your cargo in one warehouse to ship everything at one time. Price also varies from standard shipping to consolidation shipping. These special transportation rates are more competitive than single shipments.

DOOR TO DOOR SERVICE

This special shipping service is handled directly from your supplier/vendor all the way through its final destination. We take care of clearing customs through our agents abroad. Depending on the destination and origin of goods, custom clearance and delivery will not take more than 3 to 5 days.

COUNTER TO COUNTER SERVICE (DOOR TO AIRPORT)

This shipping service works great with small packages. Airlines do not allow packages to be more than 70 to 90 lbs. and dimensions not to exceed 94" total length x width x height. Your boxes are then classified as "quick-packs" and will fly on the next available confirmed flight to the nearest custom airport.

CONFIRMED DEPARTURE AND ARRIVAL

We confirm your shipments departure and arrival on each and every shipment handled by DTS. Your cargo is electronically tracked, giving you the most current information.

PICKUP AND DELIVERY SERVICE (INLAND FREIGHT)

We can schedule ALL your deliveries pick ups from your vendors to the nearest expediting warehouse. DTS offers you the entire local, statewide and interstate ground transportation.

ALL RISK INSURANCE

We offer air cargo insurance for cargo that needs coverage from our warehouse to final destination. You will have a peace of mind when your cargo is handle by DTS knowing your cargo can be protected from all risks from warehouse to warehouse (*some restrictions apply depending on commodity).

OCEAN FREIGHT

OCEAN FREIGHT CONSOLIDATIONS:

As a bonded licensed Non-vessel operating Common Carrier (NVOCC) we offer distinct services for full container loads, LCL or break-bulk cargo. We service shipments to and from all major ports throughout North America, Europe, Central and South America. We select carriers that will provide an immediate service and that are able to negotiate the most competitive rates.

CARRIER SELECTION AND BOOKINGS

We will make a selection, depending on final destination of goods, of carriers that will give us the most efficient time available. Our customer service provider will then agree with the customer on details to make the proper booking for cargo. Immediately we will confirm all details in writing to confirm rates and booking registration continuing with our sailing schedule status until your cargo arrives.
